Popé or Po'pay (POH-pay; c.&#; – c.&#;) was a Tewareligious leader from Ohkay Owingeh (renamed San Juan Pueblo by the Spanish during the colonial period), who led the Pueblo Revolt in against Spanish colonial rule.
